Our first Lely Vector Automatic Feeding System has been delivered! We’re excited—not only because it’s our first, but because it’s a real game-changer for farms.
The Lely Vector automatic feeding system is designed to provide every animal group access to fresh and precisely mixed ration based on their needs. It consists of two parts: the mixing and feeding robot and the feed kitchen, where the feed is stored, selected, and loaded. The Lely Vector enables you to easily adjust and enhance your feeding strategy, which can lead to improved milk yields and healthier cows.
 
Key Benefits & Features
Frequent & fresh feeding: The Vector can feed several times a day instead of just once or twice. This not only has a positive effect on animal health, but can improve fertility, production, and your financial results.
 
Precision feeding: Thanks to its feed kitchen and accurate load/selection, it hits close to ~98% accuracy in feed loading—making feed usage more efficient, cutting waste.
 
Smart sensors: It has feed height sensors so it knows when feed is low at the feed fence—this means cows always have fresh feed available.
Flexible: Works with many barn layouts and feed types; can be adjusted to different group needs.
 
Labor & cost savings: The Lely Vector frees up time to complete other farm tasks and can reduce rest feed. It also reduces fuel consumption and substitutes other feeding machinery, which can help to lead to energy and cost savings.

We’re thrilled to share that the Lely robot we installed at Hemme Brothers is officially UP and RUNNING! 🐄 - and it's working so well, they're already adding a second robot! This cutting-edge technology is helping the Hemme family continue doing what they do best — producing top-quality milk that becomes the foundation of their incredible, handcrafted cheeses. 🧀
 
If you don’t already know, Hemme Brothers Creamery opened in 2016 and has been crafting authentic, handmade cheeses the traditional way ever since. From creamy quark to squeaky curds, sharp cheddar, and tangy feta — their lineup is nothing short of amazing. 
 
They’re family-oriented, passionate about their craft, and staying true to what they believe: “Great cheese starts with great milk.”
 
Here’s to the perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and, of course, delicious cheese!
