Summary:

Our Cash and Collections Specialist enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a passion for nurturing and supporting a growing, innovative company culture. Ensuring our team members, customers, and partners receive the highest degree of care, accuracy, responsiveness, and fiscal support, this role will assess financial and customer information, evaluate risk, and ensure financial stability.  This position will participate in LNA management and corporate treasury discussions relating to credit decisions, and identify/report information regarding accounts with at-risk factors. This person is analytical and detail-oriented and helps foster a continuous improvement posture to ensure fiscal processes and systems provide optimum results.  This position follows a combination of on-premise and hybrid working. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Credit

  • Review daily cash activity for both U.S. and Canadian accounts, processing customer payments, and resolving issues involving transactions. Manage and initiate wire payments in RBC/Canada and DB/US.
  • Review dealer AR past due amounts and troubleshoot credit situations for dealers and work towards fair and reasonable solutions while maintaining the integrity and interest of Lely North America. Review and send collection letters via MaxCredible
  • Document issues surrounding invoices/projects and distribute via various means of communication
  • Monitor customer behavior and reactions related to dunning and dispute management
  • Help in developing a robust credit management policy system

 

 

Other Finance duties include,

  • Concur Administration – audit expense reports, provide training and support for employees requiring assistance with expense reports, update Concur data as needed, as well as analyze and reconcile credit card accounts in accordance with company policy
  • Invoice/Credits – FMS training, Marketing Chargeback, Astri Credit, Misc Invoices/credits
  • Monitoring of cash balances and identifying needed FX movement
  • Month-ended journal entries, Reconcile monthly GLs, Communicate month-end AR numbers/graphs
  • Horizon – Issue credits
  • Various ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years of related experience
